mujō is an interdisciplinary team that develops compostable materials based on algae. As a first step, the aim of mujō is to create packaging that will last as long as needed, and will be easy to integrate into circular material cycles. To achieve this, mujō studies, designs and communicates the entire product life cycle of the material. Their educational approach is in line with the current European strategy to reduce the production and use of conventional plastic materials as well as to enable the transition to new environmentally friendly solutions.
