Dynamic Fabrics

Dynamic Fabrics

Ursula Wagner

Ursula Wagner designs dynamic, three-dimensional fabrics and site-specific installation artwork for public and private interiors. With a sense for unconventional compositions of materials & colors and her specific expertise in digital weaving technologies, she creates large-size spatial objects and textile walls with multi-layered structures that are equally intriguing both from a distance and close-up. By working intensely with these computer-controlled looms Ursula Wagner is exploring and extending the potential of digital tools in the domain of textile creation and production.
