Green-blue infrastructures
urban:eden offers innovative climate adaptation measures for a growing city. Decentralized rainwater management ensures the relief of the sewage system, urban water body protection and the supply of green-blue infrastructures. With the help of filtrations systems, rainwater is treated to cool the city on-site by evaporation. Flood water cycling paths connect and supply the various systems. Flanked by measures for air pollution treatment, retention, and solar reflection, the infrastructures offer a comprehensive improvement in the city‘s environmental compatibility and quality of urban life.
